Word Of The Wooden Pallet – Part 2

In Part 2 of this blog we are going to highlight some of the creative ways a person can recycle a wooden pallet. If you missed Part 1, please read it here. Have you ever come into contact with a wooden pallet, word on the streets is you can reuse, refresh and recycle it into some pretty neat stuff? You don’t have to be overly creative to come up with some pretty cool projects made of wooden pallets.  Grab a hammer, some nails, a paint bush and a can of paint and let’s get working. Here are a few but not limited ways you can reuse a wooden pallet:

Coffee Table: Add some wheels, along with a piece of glass to a wooden pallet and bam! You have a table that is affordable and functional. If you want to go over the top, try spray painting the pallet or leave it as is for a more rustic look. Either ways it is neat and unique.

Light Fixture: How about a hanging indoor or outdoor hanging lantern? With just twelve small pieces of an old pallet you can achieve this one-of-a-kind light. Great for a dining area or even an outdoor patio on a beautiful summer night.

Shoe Rack: I can’t think about anything more annoying than tripping over a shoe, or shoes scattered all over as you enter the front door. I know this is a relatable occurrence. A recycled wooden pallet can be a solution. Shoes fit perfectly in the open space of the pallet, now you are able to enforce the “no shoes on the floor” rule.

Pot Rack: Trust me, the kitchen is where everything goes down in any home. Hang a pallet from the ceiling of your kitchen, add a few hooks and voila you have convenient and stylish storage for all your pots and pans. Again, feel free to paint or stain the wood to use it as an accent or statement piece in your kitchen.

A wooden pallet turn into many other things. Thinking about being creative? Call Colt Paper we carry a huge selection of used/recycled wooden pallets.
